Daroco Bourse

A modern-day trattoria

A modern-day trattoria

In 2016, Alexandre Giesbert and Julien Ross set up their extraordinarily-sized Italian restaurant in what was once Jean-Paul Gaultier’s store. Located on rue Vivienne, at the entrance to the legendary Galerie Vivienne, opposite Bibliothèque de France and a stone’s throw from Place de la Bourse and Palais Brongniart, DAROCO draws people in thanks to a tried and tested equation: delicious dishes, well-crafted liquids, a bubbly ambiance and an outsize décor. It is the ideal restaurant for all life’s moments: dinner with friends, a business breakfast or a weekend family dinner party, always with attentive service.

Located in the former workshops of Jean-Paul Gaultier’s fashion house, DAROCO Bourse features a unique design imagined by the architects Olivier Delannoy and Francesca Errico, awarded Le Fooding “Best Décor” award in 2017. The mirrored ceiling reflects the green marble tables, the terrazzo floor, the remarkable concrete pillars and the natural setting. The star of the show is the open kitchen where the pizzaioli prepare pizzas in the pure Neapolitan tradition.

DAROCO Bourse serves the very best fresh Italian produce, sourced directly from the growers: from pasta made on-site to the best pizza in Paris by the chef Federico Schiavon, maestro of the grand trattoria classics. Enjoy it with glass of Italian wine, a cocktail by Nico de Soto or a craft beer, to the catchy tunes created by the Spectre collective.
